Sep. 4th, 2002 10:28 pmWhat a novel concept - I actually have a floor in my bedroom!
My mom is coming over tomorrow night to help me set up a new bedframe, and my original intention was to clean my entire room and the kitchen. Instead, it devolved into, "do the dishes and at least clean up the part of the bedroom that will be needed". So my room will be half-clean. Ah well, it's a start.
Sometime soon, I should call the maintenance man and ask him to cut off the lock on my storage area, seeing as I did the brilliant thing in losing the combination. I do have a new lock (a padlock with key) for the storage area ... and as soon as that is done, I can go through some of the things in there, throw a bit of it out, and move some of the junk I have up here into the basement.
Also, in October, I can move my smut & whatever else in there. Only because my family might be coming to the apartment to make sure that Sid is fed and watered. Last thing I'd need is for someone to get curious and find something they don't need to know about. Or, for me to be a complete ditz and leave something laying out (which would be my good luck). (It was bad enough to know that my parents probably knew I was masturbating back in high school - there's no other reason that a 17 year old would have a half-used tube of KY Jelly on the nightstand... They never said anything, probably preferring to deny that it even happens. And that's okay.)
Anyways, I should get to finishing up the half of my room that is to be cleaned. Lucky me.
Totally off-topic, but it hasn't stopped me before: rather than listening to Jazz or Ambient at work, I've been listening to a station on MSN Radio called "Sunday Morning", and I'm really into Cesaria Evora's voice. She sings in Portuguese, but for some reason, I like hearing her sing. :) I'm a dork, I know... ;)
