Checking In

hiddenmuseI don't know if I mentioned it before, but about 2 weeks ago, I went to the Starbucks Job Fair downtown, and applied for a job. I had an interview while I was there, and was told that my application would be passed onto another store.
About a week later, I had a call from a store that was about 2 blocks from where I had my first interview, and the manager there wanted me to come in for an interview at his store - which I did last week. I've been spilkes for the past few days, waiting to hear back (I was supposed to hear back by today) on the job.
Nothing yet, so I'm going to give it until Monday. If I don't hear anything by Monday afternoon, I'm going to call them to find out what's going on. It has me feeling part anxious, part disappointed - even though I probably shouldn't feel disappointment. It's just in my nature, I guess.
In good news, I lost 3.6 lbs. this week - much to my surprise, as I had a couple of bad days (not writing stuff down, mainly). Perhaps it was due to the exercise, and drinking water, that I was able to actually show a loss. I have to be careful, and not get cocky because I *know* that this isn't going to happen every week, and/or every time I do it.
Not much else is happening around here - which is probably a good thing, really.

I thought of you and Kellie last night. I got my pictures developed and there was the one of the three of us before the BNL show, draped in the feather boas. We are HOT.
