Okay ... here's my dilemma du jour:

At work, I was told that I'll be getting a nice little bonus with my next paycheck, as I'd gotten my Insurance License (almost 2 years ago). I was also told about a new position that I'm being considered for - it's a lot of processing work, as well as dealing with clients, and working towards being a Claims Advocate (in other words, making sure that claims are handled and the clients are happy).

I've got a couple of days to think about this - and that's fine. My big concern (showing how greedy I am) is that when I tell them - thanks for considering me, but I'm going to be quitting soon, there goes the bonus for getting my license.

So, yeah, it's got me worried.... But, I guess I'm not happy unless I have something to worry over.

Let them give you the bonus. Tell them that at this point you don't feel comfortable accepting the position or that you feel xyz would be better suited to the position.... that way you get your bonus and don't screw them:)
