Me and My Friends

hiddenmuseThis is about my friend, Shawn. (He's the one that posts as the 'California Streaker' or anything else along those lines.) Besides, I don't think he's been mentioned here *at all* ... and I did totally forget his birthday, being a complete and utter slacker. (Please don't hate me, babe!)
I wanted to write about Shawn because he is my friend, and we've been friends for probably at least 3 years now. We'd met on OpenDiary.com, when we both had blogs there (before it went to a paid service, and he deleted his blog, and I just emigrated to livejournal). We started out as friends - and through the time, we had crushes on each other. Of course, the crushes were always one-sided, with our timing always being the suckiest - by the time the other person got a clue, the person with the crush had moved on to another crush object.
Eventually, we did both catch a clue at the same time - but he wasn't interested in having a long-distance relationship, so we decided that we were probably better off as friends at that point. Then, a few months later, I'd met Kellie, and you know how that story goes.
Still, Shawn is one of my best guy friends. One of my favorite guys, and I do love him (as a friend, for anyone that's worrying). When Anime or Pixar films are mentioned, I think of Shawn. When he hears a Barenaked Ladies song on the radio, he thinks of me. (Awwww....)
So, to Shawn, my California Buddy, I loves ya! :^D
