I Am The Department

hiddenmuseToday only - I *am* the department. Well, hopefully it's just for today only! Both co-workers are out ill, so I get to experience that deluge of calls, mail and general client love ... as well as wondering when the fuck the Ladies Room is going to bill for my concert tickets.
I'm not as grumpy or pissy as I was yesterday - I finally managed to eat real food (as opposed to take-out and the glorious mish-mash of "whatever's in the cabinets and/or refrigerator" that I'd been subsisting on for the past two weeks), which may have helped some. Yep - I actually put on my swell IKEA apron and made dinner. (Stop the presses, I know ... a historical first in entirely too long) Of course, I will probably be really sick of chicken and rice and the 70 zillion permutations on the theme before too long - but it's all good. At least I'm getting the necessary food groups - and none of them are of the fried, drenched in oil or slopped in sauce variety.
There's much more to say ... but it will wait until later this evening, when I get time at home to post. I have to get back to work - my lunch hour is almost up! Have a good afternoon, my lovelies. :)

That, and my sister made some kick-ass white chili (made w/chicken) ... and she's 12. So, if I've got a 12 year old upstaging me in the kitchen, I'm in trouble!

They just pass the list of cc numbers to the venue, who assigns your seats and bills you... so you get billed from the venue directly. As a consequence, you might get billed right when you buy tix, you might not get billed until the day before the show. And you never know the exact amount, since it varies venue to venue.
