Pottermania and other family stuff

hiddenmuseTonight, Butthead (aka, my sister - Taylor) is on queue with a few friends to get the new Harry Potter book right at midnight. The funny thing is, one of the friends she is with told her that they were distributing the books by alphabetic order of the last names. So rather than put down "Taylor P.", she put down "Abigail Avers" to ensure that she'll get a book!
Besides that bit of Pottermania, my stepdad went in today for the evaluations and possible surgery. I tried to get in contact with my mom, to see how things were going, how he was doing - but there was no answer. So, I left messages - but haven't been called back. I just hope things went well. Perhaps I'll find out tomorrow....
