May. 17th, 2003 11:54 pmDear Steven Page -
You know, the entry about June Carter Cash had me in tears - BNL Blog - and I can forgive you for being a total punkass and not getting into Johnny Cash until your University days. Although, I'd suggest that Ed pummel you for a few seconds because you'd turned up your nose at country music for so long. ;) Anyways, it was beautifully written, and thank you for sharing your memories.
As for Toronto's mayor - are you sure that he's not somehow related to the Iraqi Information Minister? Or Rick Santorum, Trent Lott or Newt Gingrich at the very least? Man oh manos ... I thought I tended to be a misinformed nitwit about politics, but reading of what he was saying on national television - and had said in the past - I don't feel so bad. At least I have the decency to keep my mouth shut on things I don't know much about ... rather than open my mouth and come across as a full-on moron.
And yes ... I'd still want you to be a part of my ever-expanding Man Harem. Girl's gotta keep herself entertained somehow, and if it involves surrounding herself with men that serve as comic relief, then so be it.
Signed,
Carly
Besides the whole geek love thing ... I should send out congratulations to
