hiddenmuseYou know ... in the midst of all my kvetching about how life sucks and all my other prattling, I forgot to mention this morning's little kick in the tuchas:
There's nothing better than getting ready for work, thinking that you look positively swellegant - even if it is Casual Day - then getting a reality check upon looking in the mirror before leaving the apartment.
As much as I go on about my lust for Steven Page (Goddess love that beautiful zaftig man ... just wanna eat him with a spoon...), if my hair were spiked up, I would've looked like a drag king version of him.
Yes, I was looking *that* butch this morning. Probably didn't help that I was wearing a men's shirt over a white form-fitting tee, along with a pair of men's Old Navy jeans and my Birkenstocks. Even my boobs couldn't keep me from looking more butch than I'd ever be in actuality. {I fancy myself to be on the femme/androgynous side. I have nothing against getting all dressed up ... and at the same time, I have no qualms about getting dirty. But, there's nothing more fun than wearing what might be construed as butch finery with the most femme, girlie scanties underneath. Then again, there's nothing wrong with dressing up all girlie to show off the assets, just because.}
That little bit o'Yiddish at the beginning was my way of saying hello to Saintrigger, who caught my eye with his "just because" use of Yiddish in the beautifulcurves community.
Of course, I can't forget to say hi to Analyzer ... who finally joined up after I gave him grief. ;) Only cos you're a friend - I like being a smartass sometimes.
