I'm creepy enough to want everybody to answer these kinds of questions. Not for perverted purposes (...), but just because I'm curious about other people's motives. Despite my cynicism I suspect (hope?) people are not that different from me *grins*
Let me offer you some of my answers! 197. Personal ads always seem a little desperate to me, not necessarily in a bad way, but I just don't feel that need to be with someone. At least not enough to actively search for anyone. Now I have met people in places where they share my interests, but I never consciously went looking for a kindred spirit. (My mom found her boyfriend thanks to the classifieds, I would never look down on people going that road)
70. No. I'd like to at least feel as if I'm in control of my own life.
48. I can't imagine that situation one way or the other.
