I've Been A Bad, Bad Girl...

It's Office Bitch Day (I know, they call it Administrative Professional Day or something ... the official title keeps shapeshifting on us), and the muckety-mucks decided to feed us. A lot. And I ate. A lot.

I was planning on today being a bad day for me, just didn't think it would be this bad. If nothing else, I'm learning which days I should be more on-guard about my eating.


But enough of that. I've got to fight off the temptation to bitchslap one of our producers around - apparently I'm supposed to work miracles and shapeshift the policies "just so" to appease the clients. Of course, being relatively new ... and still in possession of something that smacks of Professional Ethics ... I'm not very comfortable with this one. What sucks is that the people I'd normally go to on these kinds of things aren't around for me to go to them. Dammit. Then again, neither is the producer wanting the information.

So, I should be getting my shit together to discuss it with one of my co-workers before the producer returns.

In the meantime ... I have apparently turned old lady, as it's almost 11 p.m. and I'm feeling dead to the world. I just wanted to get my greetings out to my new friends before I went to bed & forgot!
