Thank you for making my job just a twee bit easier. You don't know that it's been a hellish week for me, because I'm professional enough to put on that game face - and medicated just enough to keep up appearances. But, those of you that have ended your conversations with my by saying "thank you" - especially the people that have thanked me for everything that I've done for them, that means so much to me right now.
It's what keeps me coming back day after day to a job that sometimes has me wondering why I even bother going on here, especially when I've just dealt with a few high-maintenance and/or assholian clients, or just gotten out of a meeting that's left my pretty little head spinning.
So don't think that it's going unnoticed, because I do pay attention - and I certainly appreciate it.

Besides that ... I want to go home and go to bed - but I'd probably toss and turn for several hours, utterly frustrated as is sometimes the case when I try to get to sleep after work. Ah well - I will be alright. It's Friday, and I'm in the last hour of the day. I will survive, Gorddammit.
In other stuff, I had a brainstorm last night. The Barenaked Ladies concert I'm planning to go to is on the 30th - the day before Halloween, and I've occasionally threatened to go to a show wearing a cardigan and a white t-shirt with "Sellout" scrawled across the chest (along the lines of the "Alternative Girlfriend" video ... only I'm not as furry as Steve). Well, dammit, I'm gonna do it. Why not? If nothing else, it can be passed off as my lame and almost futile attempt at dressing as Steven Page for Halloween. Okay, so we're talking Steven Page with bigger boobs, red hair and a thing for men (and women) - but, yeah ... you get the idea. ;)
And, with that, my lovelies, I must get things wrapped up around here. Have a fabulous weekend, and I will try to catch up with your blogging on Monday!
