35 years ago, The Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated at a hotel in Memphis, Tennessee.

I saw that hotel, and the wreath outside the door, when I was about 10 years old, visiting my dad in the summertime.

You know, I don't remember much else about that trip. But, seeing the hotel where Martin Luther King was shot has stayed with me after almost 20 years.
