Creepy Dude

After work, I stopped by the grocery store to pick up a few things. No big deal, right? Well, it was, until I was in the checkout line and someone from a neighborhood I lived in, oh, almost 15 years ago, approached me. I'd already encountered this person a couple of months back when he and his girlfriend(?) were on a walk. He asked if I lived around here, and what my name was. I gave a fake name, and lied about my address, saying that I lived a few blocks away.

Tonight, Creepy Dude approaches me while I'm in the middle of checking out at the grocery store. He's talking away, while I'm ignoring him. When he finally left, I muttered something about fucking rude people that don't seem to get the message that when someone's ignoring them, they should just move on. After the small-time, barely vocalized tirade, I look up and see a cute guy about two lanes down.

I gather up my bags, and before I leave, I look up again and give him (the anonymous cute guy) a quick smile, then go home, looking over my shoulder every few feet, worried that Creepy Dude is gonna be lurking nearby or something.

No worries, I did get home unscathed, but a little squicked out by the fact that Creepy Dude may live in my neighborhood. Now, I'm almost out of my work clothes - wanted to vent before I got to cooking, since I don't want bad Karma to permeate the food. (Wierd, I know ... but I'd swear that my cooking is affected by my mood, or even the music I'm listening to.)

I promse I'll leave you alone at the grocery store. But the gas station is fair game.

Okay - I believe you. ;)

And oddly enough, "King of the Hill" just started as I read your reply.

if it's QuikTrip, yeah. sometimes, a girl's gotta have her cheap-ass French Vanilla Cappucino ... or a jeroboam of cherry lime soda.

*grabs up Kellie's All-Clad saucepan & takes a swing*

Yep, it's heavy enough alright. Looks like that'll leave a mark, Steven. ;)

I pictured her more of an eco-friendly rechargable battery girl myself, no fossil fuels...

naw.. my girl isn't into most of that hippie dippy stuff.

[identity profile] hiddenmuse.livejournal.com 2003-01-06 09:32 pm (UTC)(link)
but that's alright.

That's right .. Vin Diesel. And drag kings every now & again (the diesel dyke faction ... hehe)

Although, with Vin Diesel, I almost develop Tyler Stewart Syndrome. You know, that odd desire to rub a handsome guy's bald head. But not with my hands. :-x

why do you think I cut my hair so short? :x

(ok.. so I don't have the balls to go totally bald, but I was hoping it would work anyway...)
