icedmaple - I love all of the different ways you come up with to say that someone is quite gay ("Campier than a row of tents" is a personal favorite); so when I saw this quote in Entertainment Weekly, I thought of you.

And for everyone ... I've found myself really liking the My Chemical Romance song, "Teenagers". I don't know what it is about the song, but I like it. I also like "Stiff Kittens" by Blaqk Audio, probably because it has a kind of techno-y/ electronic sound to it. And M.I.A.'s new CD, Kala is really good. Her first CD, Arular is good, too. In other words, check this stuff out, my lovelies.


So, yeah, I'll be having Gerard Way, Davey Havok and M.I.A.'s babies, because the music is that good. ;-)

there was a young lady at PRIDE wearing a shirt that read "Homophobia Is So Gay!" I like it.*shrugs*

I stumbled across M.I.A. several months ago on Colours (some obscure calbe channel in the 4 digit # area) and I just love her! Colours has some really great international music video shows.

That sounds like an awesome shirt. Kind of turns the whole "that's so gay" thing on its head.

M.I.A. is great - and I remember that for a long while, the Customs officials/INS would not let her into the States because of her dad's affiliation with the Tamil Tigers in Sri Lanka. (Yes, because his daughter - who has no direct involvement with the group - would be a threat. *rolls eyes*)
