Okay, so I'd originally posted these at [livejournal.com profile] dear_you, but I wanted to put them here - to share the snark. ;-)

Dear Girl at Pride -

I was just asking you about your Clandestine Industries hoodie. I wasn't trying to pick you up - don't flatter yourself.

Besides, I'm in a relationship. And you weren't that cute.

Signed,

me

Dear Pride Parade -

Must you keep going for over 4 hours? I left after the first hour and was blown away by the fact that you were still going by the time I'd started to leave. Maybe next year, you can start the night before and finish at noon?

Signed,

me

Dear cute gay boy in the "Everybody Loves A Gay Boy" shirt -

Yes I do.

Cheers,

me

Over four hours????? That is ridiculous!! Sure, parades are fun and good and all that, but four hours makes them seem more like a chore.

It seemed to feel that way. I'd be surprised if there were still people there -- I couldn't tell because of the crowds within the booth and stage areas.

And honey, that icon is pure evil. :-P

The icon is pure evil...in that it is the sexiest thing ever!

My guess is that very few would want to sit/stand through a parade that long. Everybody would have moved on to more *fun* things!

Yes we did!

There was an area called "Leather Alley" that was quite fun - got to see all of the masters/mistresses and their slaves, and apparently they were going to be doing demonstrations as well as letting people try things out. Missed out on that - but it was still pretty cool to see that it was available. Not that I've ever been curious about that kind of thing. 0-:^)

Also, it was quite fun to walk around and see everyone and everything.
