Must you keep going for over 4 hours? I left after the first hour and was blown away by the fact that you were still going by the time I'd started to leave. Maybe next year, you can start the night before and finish at noon?

It is quite annoying that every year the SF Parade seems to get longer and longer.... There's absolutely no reason for it, but the pride committee can't exclude anyone now can they? Especially when the parade is supposed to be about inclusiveness and tolerance..

So, basically it's a double edged sword.

No doubt!

I suggest that next year, we just put entire groups together into one contingent. All the school groups; the GSAs and PFLAG; the churches; the banks, etc.

It could make the parade go a hell of a lot faster. Or, just cut it down to 3 hours. Heh.
