Yes, I finally broke down and called the doctor this morning for a prescription for this sinus infection. Also on the prompting of co-workers and Dr. Mom all saying that I sounded miserable, and if I needed to go home, I could ... I went home after working in the morning.

So I went to the pharmacy and picked up my prescriptions (antibiotics and cough syrup), went home, got into my jammies, made something quick to eat (hard-boiled eggs), took my meds and went down for a nap.

Looking at the information from the pharmacy, my cough syrup has codeine in it. Yay for narcotics! It also has a decongestant and antihistamine - but the codeine is gonna make work really fun tomorrow, that's for sure! ;)

Now, I'm gonna go back to being a slacker in jammies - time to watch the Barenaked Ladies DVD I went out in a bit of rain to pick up last night. Oh yeah, and call my mom to tell her that I'm okay.

your doc didn't give you something else for your cough during the day?? hmm.. mine always does. although really, the codiene works much better.
