My opinions?

1) The girl committing plagiarism is getting what she deserves. A crappy paper - full of nonsense cobbled together from not-very-reliable sources.

2) She went trolling on AIM to get the paper, for the love of all that's decent in the world!

3) I think it's funny as hell that she ended up being taken in by someone that is a part of a comedy troupe. People are calling him an evil asshole - but I think that he's an evil genius.

Apparently she went to him, because he had Hinduism listed as an interest. FWIW, that person could be only interested in Hinduism casually - and just have it listed to impress people.

Then she'd have really been screwed. Still - the fact that he made several attempts to throw her off track, and she didn't catch on ... *that* is scary.

Anyone calling him cruel never had to write several 20-page papers in one semester without plagiarizing. I think this girl gets exactly what she deserves.
