Stuff I want to get from Napster
I've been thinking of getting a few new tunes from Napster - and I thought I'd get some suggestions/ideas while I was at it.
Here's what I'm looking to get:
Elvis Costello - "Alison"
Betty - "It Girl"
Sebadoh - "Round And Round" (yes, as in Ratt's "Round And Round". This is an acoustic version, apparently.)
Petra Hayden - "I Can See For Miles And Miles"
Maybe even some more Lewis Black comedy. I've practically memorized the "IHOP" piece ... could use some more new stuff.
Since my musical tastes are all over the place (disco, country, metal, emo, punk, jazz) - I'd love to see what you have to suggest! :-)

They Might Be Giants "Birdhouse in Your Soul", "We Want A Rock", "They'll Need A Crane", and "Anna Ng." Also, "I Palindrome I", "Mammal", "The Statue Got Me High", "Dinner Bell" (It's about Pavlov!), "Don't Let's Start" and "Rhythm Section Want Ad".
*consulting the iPod*
Reverend Horton Heat "Loco Gringos Like A Party" (Rockabilly/Psychobilly)
Coheed and Cambria "A Favor House Atlantic" (Emo)
Ween "Ocean Man" (Alternative/College Rock)
Weezer "The Good Life" (Alternative/College Rock)
White Town "I Could Never Be Your Woman" (Alternative)
Burning Airlines "Outside the Aviary" (Emo)
Anything by The Dismemberment Plan. I heart them. They are college rock/indie rock but very QUIRKY.
Furneral Oration "I Fall Harder" and "Stop For A Moment" (Punk)
The Killers "Somebody Told Me" and "Mr. Brightside" (80's emoish)
Meat Puppets "Lake of Fire" and "Plateau" (80's college rock made famous by Nirvana)
Operation Ivy "The Crowd" and "Sound System" (Punk)

I've got The Killers "Somebody Told Me" - excellent song. Love it so much.
I also love that White Town song - haven't heard it in a million years. :) Also like The Meat Puppets - especially the song "Backwater". And with Weezer, I really like "Island In The Sun" - it sounds kind of fun and happy ... and puts me in a decent mood.
Okay, so you've brought out the Music Dork in me. ;)
