I know, it's Valentine's Day, and I should be happy. But, it's raining ... and I'm at work, dealing with the resident curmudgeons that only make my heartburn worse.
Right now, I'm just feeling like, "why do I even bother ..." when it comes to work. The rational side of me knows that this is probably just a temporary thing, just my little brain mis-firing or misconstruing things, and that soon enough, I will snap out of it.
In the meantime, I'm just sitting here, trying to keep myself occupied, and remind myself that the demons in my head are just that - demons.

i am one of those who deals with demons as well.
and it took me a long time to admit that they were there.
