Now Serving Pudding Shots!

Starbucks is right next door to my office - and they are sampling their new chocolate drink, Chantico.

Yes, I did get some (the sample appears to be about 4 oz. - a full serving is 6 oz.), and the verdict is: The taste reminds me of when I was small, and I wanted to drink/eat the recently cooked JELL-O Cook and Serve chocolate pudding. And when I say "recently cooked", I mean that it's off the stove - but hasn't been refrigerated to allow it to set. To put it simply, it's alright - but I don't think I'd get it again.

What was I expecting? I'm not sure. I guess that I half-hoped that it would be similar to Mexican Chocolate, which combines the sweet with spicy. Instead, it seemed to have the consistency of molé sauce, without the kick.

I was curious about how that would taste. I'm not sure I would like it, but I'll still have to try it =P

How disappointing. I was looking forward to a Chocolat type experience. (Minus the Johnny Depp, unfortunately)

I am glad I have never been to Starbucks. I fancy I would hate it there. Then again, maybe I have just been overly influenced by Rev. Billy- his 'sermons' are actually quite interesting/convincing ^_^
