"We're more patriotic than you"

I must give credit where credit is due for this one - I found it through [livejournal.com profile] bruiseblue, who saw it on [livejournal.com profile] adbusters:

http://www.pabaah.com
(If you have trouble accessing the site, copy and paste the URL to a new window - paBAAH has been cock-blocking people that have the chutzpah to not fall into their goose-step groupthink.)

All I can say is "baah, baah black sheep" - if they decide to boycott everything that falls within their definitions of "unpatriotic" or "liberal" - I guess they'll be watching VeggieTales and hardcore porn, reading Ann Coulter, Bill O'Reilly and Dr. Phil books, and listening to the MoTab Choir* for the rest of their days.

Bo-ring! I'll keep on patronizing Hollyweird, listening to the Dixie Chicks, Barenaked Ladies and Bruce Springsteen, and watching Michael Moore documentaries - just to piss them off. ;)

*For those that don't know, the MoTab Choir is the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.

And Skinny Puppy! I'm not going to stop 15 good years of listening to Skinny Puppy just cause a bunch of angry scolds tells me not to.

Maybe they can find a norwegian band to pick on next, eh?

Too bad A-Ha! isn't around anymore ... *snicker*

Otherwise, I think it's just damn silly that they're going to sit there and tell people to boycott all of these entertainers over *political beliefs*. Might as well boycott those Disney films, because they're being scored by that flaming faggot, Elton John, yannow. ;)

Hehe - so it's not a die-hard thing, but yeah, I have their CDs (back in St. Louis). Some of the songs are pretty good - and Natalie is darn cute. ;)

Long hair = just wrong.
