Mrowr ... Snark Attack!!
Britney, Spare Me
Just one word to describe her apparent fiancé: gold-digger. (Okay, so it's probably 2 words...)
First, he left his pregnant girlfriend (and mother of his two-year old daughter) to run off with Slutney. That already rankles me.
Second, she's not the paragon of stability - how else can you describe that debacle that was her annulled "blink and you'll miss it" first marriage?
Third, she's got quite a bit of money. Boyfriend doesn't seem to have that much. From the goings-on reported in the fishwrap, it seems that Miss Brit is quite the Sugar Mama. What man would pass that up?
With that in mind, I just shake my head in disbelief at the news. Miss Thing needs to seriously get a grip on reality, and have someone wake her up to what she's getting into, before she gets highly fucked over by some good-in-bed jackass.
As long as she can marry impetuously like this - yet, my queer friends and acquaintances that have been with their partners for eons and would love to be able to get married ... can't - I will be snarky and cynical towards people like her, that take marriage so lightly and seem to have no regard for the committment, maturity, compromise and emotional involvement involved to make such a long-term relationship work.
