Randomness du Jour
It's official. I want friends in town, dammit. After sitting at a table for four, with a party of one, I've decided that I want people I can call with my spontaneous ideas:
"Let's go to the Central West End after work"
"This Saturday - you and me, lunch at Koppelman's Deli, then we'll walk around the neighborhood looking at million-dollar homes."
"Let's grab some Thai food in University City."
You get the idea. Right now, my friends have to plan around families, school, significant others, work. So, I'm resigned to sitting alone at dinner, staring across the table at an empty chair and place setting. You'd think I was ready for Elijah to come, months before the Pesach Seder.
Of course, knowing me, when I get the friends to run with, I'd probably start bitching about wanting time to myself. Or, maybe that's only applicable to boyfriends. Damned if I can remember anymore.
Meh, I'm rambling again. It sounded better in my head - before I wrote it down.
