I managed to drag my ass into the office today. Damn Protestant work ethic!

Of course, my voice is still rather shot, and I'm trying to talk as little as possible - e-mail has become my best friend. I called my doctor's office, and they're supposed to be calling in a prescription for me.

Considering that I had a time trying to get a hold of the doctor's office - and a few people around me seem to have similar symptoms (sore throat, cough, whatever else) - I wonder if something is going around. :(

I thought maybe it was sensitivity to cigarette smoke, because when I was out with Anna last night, any smoke that came within my direction had my eyes red & bloodshot, as well as started me coughing. But, it's continued on, so I'm not sure what the hell it is. I just know that it's frustrating, and that I'd love to go home and go to bed, but it's not possible right now.

Ah well. Hopefully you all are doing well and feeling good - and if you come down with anything similar to what I've got, I'm sorry!! :^)

yikes...i know how this cough thing is as i'm still battling one myself. take care of youself as much as possible and hopefully it won't turn into an episode like mine that's now been going on over 3 weeks and even with steroids isn't backing down! good luck!
