(no subject)

Today I finally got back to the psychiatrist - after over a year.

What I can remember of the visit went well. Unfortunately, I ended up having a seizure in the middle of the session, so I had a hell of a time afterwards. The bad thing is, I was trying to make out a check, which is probably totally butchered ... and made out for far less than I'd intended on paying. I'll have to pay more at my next visit, I suppose.

Anyways, it went well - I'm on a second antidepressant (Lexapro), and a sleep aid (Sonata), and of course, they *have to* be Non-Preferred, which means $80 for both drugs. Ouch. I'll get them filled, and turn the receipts into the Cafeteria plan for reimbursement, and when I go back in, I'll explain to the doctor that the drugs ended up being VERY expensive - could I get something else?

Now, I'm going to go home, get my new insurance card & pick up my new drugs. Then, I'll probably have dinner & go to bed.

*grins* I'm on lexapro and ambien... and lexapro is freaking expensive AND doesn't seem to do shit for me. other then cost me money. I decided after this month (just picked up today ironically) if I don't notice a change I won't take it... no use paying for something that just annoys me and I sure could use the money...
you'll have to let me know how the sonata is... the ambien gave me night mares at first... now I just have VERY vivid dreams... not scary... but quite realistic.=) Good luck!

I just started taking Lexapro on Saturday. Maybe we can compare experiences and see how well it works. :-)
