Well ... That was wierd.
For some reason, after lunch today, I felt absolutely wired. Like I was totally hopped up and ready to do 300 things at once or something. It was wierd and a bit scary, because I'm not used to feeling that way - and it totally came out of nowhere.
Still, it was strange to have this sudden burst of manic energy - that gradually went away, no big to-do or crash and burn.
You know, I don't think I've ever mentioned that I love Marvin Gaye's music. Last night, I was listening to the 2nd Austin Powers soundtrack (cheesy, I know), and got to hear "Let's Get It On", which had me feeling a bit swoony - and reminded me that I love Marvin Gaye's voice. It's a real travesty that his life was cut short by his father shooting him, because I think we've missed out on what his potential could've been. And let's be honest - there's no way to replace that man.
But ... I'm going to get home and probably go for a walk. The weather was really nice at lunchtime - hopefully it's still that way this evening! I'll try to write more later - unless the Muse thumps me in the head and gets me going creatively again.
