I'm crossing my fingers. From what I can tell, because it directly contradicts a part of the state constitution, the equal protection clause or something like that, it would have had to been passed by 2/3rds of the legislature to be valid because it's changing the constitution rather than adding on to it? I really gotta pay better attention when I read things.
