I'm having a physically horrible day. It feels like I was kicked in the uterus, my brain seems a bit foggy and my allergies have been acting up something awful.

But, I'll save that bitching for another time and place. I'm mainly writing this as a bit of a time-waster.

I want to know something - why didn't anyone tell me that Cobra Starship is wicked awesome? Because they are - and not just because I've got a serious girl crush on Victoria (Vicky T.) Asher.

I think my curiousity was truly piqued when I read a quote somewhere about Gabe Saporta (lead singer) that said, "...even when he's singing about locking you up in his basement, he seems quite endearing." All kinds of fucked-up, there - but still quite funny.

In conclusion: Damned if I know today!

WHAT?! You haven't been on the Cobra bandwagon? haha. There is something about Gabe that's intoxicating. I don't know what it is, but something about him is magic and amazing. He can also make you feel better. A friend and I both went to different shows with different problems. Like, I had to travel to my show and got extremely car sick, but as soon as him came out on stage I was better. And when he shook my friend's hand, her headache was gone. haha.
He's not to mention the most weirdly gorgeous person, ever. I didn't really meet him, but I was like a foot away from him. People got in my way, ah, bitches.
Victoria is also gorgeous, I love her.

I know, I suck ... heard eleventeen million (good) things about them, and never really heard the music! When

milesfromhome put up a copy of the CD in her blog, I snagged it - and I've listened to it several times already. :-)

Yes, Gabe is handsome in the weirdest possible way - kind of like how Beckett is rather pretty for a guy.

With Victoria, I think she had a lot of straight girls thinking, "you know ... I'd totally reconsider for her." Kind of like the way Patrick has a lot of the queer girls wondering why they find him so damned hot - even though we like girls!

It's a really good CD. My favorite is "It's Warmer in the Basement." That's like my anthem. haha.

Yeah, I don't know what it is about him, but wow, just hot.

I think I'd go gay for Victoria. She has this thing about her that's appealing to everyone.
I've noticed a lot gay girls like Patrick. I've noticed and been like, hmm... that's interesting. I think it's his pretty baby face and how he can look a little girly, maybe. My mom tells me all the time he'd look gorgeous in make-up and I'm like, 'MOM! Okay!' haha My mom looooooooves Patrick too.

The Pamela Anderson jacket is bizarre - but not as bad as a guy that I knew who had Alicia Silverstone tattooed on his leg!

Patrick - well, he'd make a really cute baby dyke, that's for sure!

It probably is that he's kind of pretty - and I don't know what else. I kind of like his shyness and the music geekiness and his (potentially) dirty little mind. And I could probably go on for a while... heh.

Yeah - that was all kinds of creepy! At least with a Pamela Anderson illustration on the jacket, you can get rid of the jacket - no problems!

Well, the funny part was that the Pamela Anderson "illustration" was actually cut off of something (a shirt perhaps?) and pinned on. and, I feel strangely bizare that I can remember that coat of his 8 years later! haha

So, lucky you, you got to go to high school with a borderline-crazy Saporta brother!

Yes, he was the craziest and most different person in the whole high school. Which is probably why I remember him to this day.
