I don't mind going in for cleanings - or even a single filling. But when it's several fillings, or major work (root canals, etc.) I get terrified.

What's sad is that I had to take out a $1000 loan through a company that does health/dental financing, to pick up what my insurance wasn't.

I wish that I could put all of this off - or just ignore it - but my family history with the teeth is not a good one at all, as both parents had dentures by their 40s. :-(
