Don't Mind Me - I'm Just Old and Grumpy Today
My jaw is hurting today - probably from laughing so damn much last night. But dammit, it was so fun and so worth it. :^D
Apparently I wasn't alone in mouth/jaw pain either. The Non Prophets' Emcee, Chris (that's Mr. Jones to you) has his grandparents in the audience at the shows every week. Last night, Grandpa Jones wasn't there because he'd broken his jaw "fighting a renegade bathtub". So he was certainly missed by the cast members, as well as regular show attendees.
Also, Tyson had a tooth pulled the other day, so he was still a bit swollen and sore from that. Yet, he was still a trouper & still went through with the show - although by the show's end, he looked positively miserable. I wanted to take him home & feed him soup - so, instead, I told him that David had to take care of him ... or he'd have a fag hag on his case. Of course, anytime I'd say something that would get Ty smiling or laughing, he'd end up wincing in pain, so I didn't talk to him very much.
And to make things really interesting, I think I pulled or strained something in my left foot/ankle the other day. I don't know how it happened, I just know that the top of my foot, near the ankle, is sore & occasionally, it's uncomfortable to walk. It's not swollen, bruised or immobile, so I'm not too worried. It's just a momentary pain in the ass, to be honest.
So, I'm going to get my lunch and slug out the rest of this day. Perhaps later, I'll write an entry about something besides how my friends and I are all falling apart physically.
