Quickie
Part of the source of my recent moody-bitchiness has evinced itself today, so I'm going to be a real joy to be around at the BNL concert tomorrow night. ;)
I do have a camera, with zoom lens, and a roll of 12-exposure black-and-white film to test it out before I use it at the show. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a black wig, like I'd wanted. So, I'm going to try for the Devil's horns & tail I saw at Torrid recently, instead. :)
Taylor has been e-mailing me from home today, all excited about the concert, as well as bored out of her little mind. Apparently on Wednesdays, it's Homeschool Day at the Library - in other words, the kids spend the day at the Library, no lessons.
Finally ... my Piecemeal Review of Everything To Everyone continues. This time, "War On Drugs". When the lyrics don't have me ready to come undone, the opening melody sounds quite familiar. Instead of hearing Steven Page's tenor, I half-expect to hear Georgia of Yo La Tengo singing "Show me where you keep all your secrets up there...", the opening line of "Pablo and Andrea". (And I thought being into a hodge-podge of music wasn't good for anything ... hehe)
